Full help centreFrom your dashboard, click "New Data Room" and follow the setup wizard. You can add parties, assign permissions, and upload documents immediately. The room is private until you explicitly invite participants.
Data room features →Only the parties you explicitly grant access to. Each data room has granular permission settings — you can control visibility per-document, per-party, and per-role. Guests see only what you choose to share.
How access control works →When you upload a document, Marintel's AI pipeline classifies it, extracts key fields (vessel details, parties, dates, price), and flags any compliance gaps. Extracted data is surfaced in the data room dashboard alongside the original document.
Full AI pipeline →Yes. From the Valuations section, submit a valuation request with the vessel's IMO number and purpose. Our team coordinates with accredited valuers and delivers the report directly into your workspace.
How valuations work →Marintel supports PDF, Word (.docx), Excel (.xlsx), and common image formats. PDFs render natively in the document viewer. All other formats are stored securely and can be downloaded by authorised parties.
AI document capabilities →Open the data room, go to Parties, and click "Invite". Enter the email address and assign a role. Guests receive a secure link and verify their email with a one-time code (OTP) — there is no password to create. Where the deal admin requires it, guests must accept an NDA before they can access documents.
